Zabel Promotes Brian Miskell to Principal

Charlotte, NC (August 5, 2026) – The Zabel Companies is pleased to announce Brian Miskell has been promoted to Principal.

Brian began his career with Worthington Industries where he worked in the internal strategy and M&A groups, before beginning his professional journey in principal investing with a lower middle market private equity firm in Cleveland, OH. Brian joined Zabel in 2021 and was instrumental in the success at Zabel’s prior investment in New Market Waste and current investments in Stan’s Performance Products, LLC and GCDL, LLC. Brian currently is the board chair of GCDL, LLC and on the board of Stan’s Performance Products, LLC.

Brian was born in California and raised in Lake Arrowhead, CA. He now lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three children.  Brian graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting and he received his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
